We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the Gion district. The location was perfect, as we were just a short distance away from both the charming Gion area and the bustling Shijo shopping district. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, speaking English fluently and providing excellent recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with modern amenities such as air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also offered a variety of services, including tours and ticket assistance, ensuring that we could make the most of our time here. Furthermore, we appreciated the convenience of the on-site dining options and the relaxing public bath facilities. Families would definitely enjoy their stay here, as the hotel provided a traditional room with modern comforts for our children. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place for a luxurious and comfortable stay in this beautiful city.

The traditional dinner and breakfast were good experiences, and the staff was always kind and helpful. The hotel was also conveniently located near many tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the area. It was nice to be able to try out traditional Japanese features like sleeping on fultons and going to an onsen.

The hotel felt quite old and outdated, and the room was not very comfortable for a long stay. The bathroom in particular was not well-maintained, and there were some unpleasant smells.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the center of the town with close proximity to many temples and a fairly near the Shijo shopping district. the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very polite and attentive. the breakfast was amazing, with a variety of delicious dishes. the room had a modern and ingenious Japanese toilet, which was a unique and convenient feature.

The room in which dinner was served lacked decorations and felt quite cold, not creating the traditional atmosphere I had expected.

The Japanese-style breakfast was a unique experience that added to the authenticity of our trip. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in recommending local attractions and answering questions. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful temples and parks nearby.

The pillows and futons were a bit too firm, which made it a bit tough to get a good night's sleep. the bathroom facilities were a bit lacking and we had to use a communal bath instead of having a private shower.
